You can expect to learn from experienced radiation protection practitioners in an engaging and interactive environment. Expect to meet, work with and learn alongside others from industry, research, healthcare and other workplaces. Choose face to face training at one of our training venues (Glasgow, Leeds and Chilton, Oxfordshire) or join one of our real time, on-line courses, learning without the commute.
If you have a large group of people to train, we can deliver training that is fully customised to your radiation work. Customised courses can run at your site, at one of our training venues, or on-line.
On-line courses typically run over more, but shorter days and incorporate plenty of time for group discussion and screen breaks. Video recordings and case studies are used as a substitute for practical work.
Participants on all our courses receive full training notes to support the teaching and an attendance certificate on completion of the course. Our scheduled RPS general and RPS X-rays courses are assessed by means of a time-limited, open book written paper; the results of the assessment (as a percentage score) are forwarded on to the participant afterwards.
