Novel and Dangerous Pathogens Training provides customised training courses that can be tailored to your needs and delivered at your premises, at our training facilities or at another venue of your choice. Each programme is created to meet the specific audience needs and where possible, focused practical or group exercises are included. Course materials, assessments and certificates of attendance may also be provided. For further information please contact us.
On-site training
Our training courses are regularly run with a blend of theory and practical sessions from our training facilities. These courses allow delegates the benefit of gaining up to date information from experts in the field, hands on training with the guidance of an experienced trainer, as well as an opportunity to meet and network with other delegates and share experiences.
On-line training
We are currently developing a range of e-learning modules so you can receive training online without having to leave your workplace. Modules available and in development include:
- Use and overview of Class I Microbiological Safety Cabinets
- Measuring the airflow of a Class I MSC
- Use and overview of Class II Biological Safety Cabinets
- Use and overview of Class III Microbiological Safety Cabinets
- The safe use of centrifuges
Training on demand
Bespoke courses can be designed to meet the needs of your training requirements. The training can be provided on-site at UKHSA Porton, online or at your own premises. Online modules can be reinforced and extended at your workplace with a visit from one of our experienced trainers to demonstrate and deliver practical hands on training to further develop the skills of your workforce.
