The course is designed for healthcare staff who are new to UKHSA SSI surveillance, have been doing surveillance but not been trained or wishing to refresh their knowledge. The delegates should be staff involved in surveillance co-ordination, data collection, data entry and feeding back results, surgeons, microbiologists; although other members of staff interested in learning about SSISS may also wish to attend. We currently, do not offer surveillance in caesarean section surgery. Please contact us before signing up for the training if you are planning to undertake in-house surveillance of caesarean section.
