Kelly has over 20 years' experience in radiological assessments. She has a wide range of experience from responding to emergency exercises and real incidents such as polonium-210 in London during 2006 to radiological assessments of discharges to environment and disposals to landfill site and incinerators. She has worked with the IAEA on topics such as environmental impact assessments and Naturally Occurring Materials (NORM) and UNSCEAR in updating its methodology for estimating human exposures from radioactive discharges from different sources of electricity generation. The work of the group covers all area of public exposure related emergencies and accidents including recovery from incidents.
