At UKHSA we have developed our RPA and equipment assessment service to meet the needs of dental trade companies. We make compliance simpler for you, leaving you more time to focus on your work with the dental profession.
UKHSA's extensive team of experienced staff is available to guide you through the complex compliance process. The need for advice page provides further information.
Our customers benefit from the continuity of advice provided through a named UKHSA contact with whom they are able to build up a close working relationship. However should your contact be unavailable, one of our experienced team will always be on hand to answer your queries.
UKHSA has a dedicated administrative team within DXPS to service your orders for assessments of X-ray equipment. They are there to answer your initial queries, to provide the postal test packs or liaise with technical staff for site visits. For further information see X-ray equipment assessments.
Test packs (for intra-oral and panoramic X-ray sets) can be sent direct to your company or when timescales are tight they can be sent to the dental practice awaiting the arrival of your engineer.
We recognise that there are occasions when packs are required urgently and we offer a 'next day' service.
Full training in the use of the UKHSA test packs is provided on our mandatory two-day training course for engineers. Attendance on a course provides the opportunity to talk to our team of dental experts who are on hand throughout the two days.
One simple contract gives you access to UKHSA's comprehensive range of radiation protection services, including the equipment assessments. Our customer satisfaction rate is high and we automatically issue contract renewals (something you won't have to think about) ensuring continuity of cover and ongoing access to the assessment service.
Many trade companies have benefited from using our logo (only available to our contract customers) for marketing or other publicity material. Our service is suited to all trade companies whether you are an engineer working on your own or a larger company employing a number of engineers.
